Mystic Testimonial

"Willie rocks!  We visited Bob French during his show when Willie was here for Satchmofest and he presented Bob with a check.  He also gave me a check for Will Terry, sax/tuba player for Soul Rebels and this summer, bass player for Terrence Simien.  Will is also my neighbor, lost 3 homes in Gentilly and is living in a trailer & doing all the work himself.  On Willie's last night, we went to BobFrench's gig at Ray's Boom Boom Room and Willie presented a check to Ellen Smith, vocalist with Bob's band.  She literally screamed, fell on the floor, started crying.  Ellen is getting a house in the musician's village and has been working on site every day putting in her "sweat equity".  Bob told me later that very night that Ellen had asked him to borrow some money because she had no money to get school clothes and supplies for her 16 year old daughter.
